Pros: There were golden nuggets of instructions throughout the DVD that really clicked and will help me more properly execute the moves in the future. A few of them were: imagine a tack under your stomach (when arching back), keeping your supporting leg in center of your body (when working the other leg over the head), and to lay down a strand of pearls (when rolling down through your vertebra). Then when I thought the video was over, I was treated to a incredible anointed dance from Pastor Lynn’s first online students.

Pros: The only prerequisite needed to successfully do this workout is the Preliminary Pilates video and actively participating in the demonstration/instructional part at the beginning. Do not be scared off or even overlook the challenge this video will bring you. It perfectly layers on more insight on how to make the movements from the first video more challenging, while still giving the experience that you have grown a lot and still have room to grow. Pastor Lynn is so gifted in instructing you throughout the entire video of how to think about your breathing and posture. Without her verbal instruction, I would not be able to successfully do these exercises!

Pros: The Pilates Dvd is an advanced version. In the beginning Pastor Lynn is explaining the exercises and gives direction how to do them correctly. She gives also a lot of modifications if need be. Pros: I have been nursing a back injury for a long time and Pilates is the one exercise method I’ve found that does not exacerbate my pain while strengthening and elongating all my core muscles, especially my back. Pastor Lynn’s Pilates I Alternative is a sequel to her Preliminary Pilates DVD and it’s a real step up in challenge, which I love. I also need a goal to work toward and it’s encouraging to feel better and stronger from these exercises. Pros: Preliminary Pilates Alternative is an educational and enjoyable video that demonstrates how to execute correctly a series of modified Pilates exercises. The video is taught in a way which is also attainable by those who have physical limitations My body feels good inside and ouy after doing these exercises, which are slow and flowing. They warm up the body properly and help you to get in touch with and enjoy the feelings in your spine. They also teach proper breathing, not only through the lower abdomen, but through different parts of the body like chest and sides. Lynn not only demonstrates the exercises themselves, but also provides helpful do's and don'ts, together with variations in case there are physical limitations. The exercises were well-explained and easy to follow, and the fact that they were repeated helps greatly.
