I love how these particular dance styles break the traditional "mold" of dance in church and bring forth anointed power in praising our King of Kings!

Pros: This DVD is a great guide and compilation of American church culturally safe and approved movements for the HipHop Jazz style! I am thankful that Pastor Lynn did not hold back to make the choreography more simple, but to challenge the dancer to remember more movements within this remixed style of dance. Pastor Lynn never ceases to introduce the heart of worship into the dance, teach in a way that you can learn in real time and have confidence by the end of the video and then leave with a heartfelt blessing!

Pros: This video details the choreography to a more upbeat, 4/4 beat song. There is a high level of detail which accounts for every single beat in this song in dance and flag choreography. It reminds me how much work goes into every single worship dance assignment the Lord gives us and what an honor it is to be used by Him to receive, steward and impart the steps He gently gives us in the quiet of our prayer rooms.

Partly it was the cool movement but also seeing Pastor Lynn who never ceases to amaze me how versatile a dancer she is. It is to her credit that she incorporates contemporary and evolving dance styles throughout the Dancing for Him course for variety and appeal to all ages and interests – something for every one.

Pros: This is a very fun DVD. The dance that Past Lynn teaches gives me hip hop and jazz class flash backs! She teaches choreography to the dance quite fast, but with a little repeat watching, you can pick it up in no time and even teach it to others since it can be danced to any 4/4 count music. Pros: Being more ballet trained, the faster paced music is harder for me to choreograph. This video gave me many ideas and moves that I can incorporate into the faster songs that the worship team plays on Sunday mornings.

As I was practicing and getting better it occurred to me that learning this dance wasn’t just for the sake of teaching it as it is.
