Pros: Visual handbook with definitions, explanations, and visual demonstrations of the foundations of choreography. A number of years ago, back when I was doing choreography and blocking for children plays, I used most to all of the concepts listed. So, I can fully identify with and endorse everything taught!

Pros: I really enjoyed this DVD. I especially appreciated that Pastor Lynn had the groups demonstrate the different choreography techniques as she explained them. That made it very easy to understand and to recognize which techniques I am already utilizing and which new ones I have not used or have barely used. I’m sure I will review this DVD again to really learn all that I can from it.

Pros: In the DVD you see how Pastor Lynn works with a group of dancers. How she explains the exercises and what concepts are behind them. Then she divids them into small groups from 3-4 dancers and they show all the creative ideas they have come up with. So you get a lot of ideas for your own choreography and composition. At the end of the DVD you see a whole dance performance and can watch how all is put together. So this DVD is really valuable to have when working with a group of dancers and ministering in the church through dance. What a blessing

The real life examples of the techniques and concepts written about in the book are far more easier to contemplate and understand by watching this video. The fact that there are multiple examples from separate teams per concept, means you can discern what would look best for dances or activities you may be planning to do as opposed to only using your imagination of how it would look.

Pros: What a great complementary this DVD on divine choreography is to the book that was written by Pastor Lynn Hayden! The DVD gave me a strong visual of what was presented in the book. We really need to have a strong movement vocabulary in order for us to be able to effectively communicate the message that the Lord wants us to communicate to the congregation.

Pros: To increase our dance vocabulary and give movement ideas to minister effectively Pastor Lynn describes and instructs on key variations and then has different groups interpret with 8 count phrases. Watching the groups is a very effective device for instruction as we can see clearly the creative possibilities as well as how certain variations affect the power of the movement.

The inspiration is one thing but if not well presented due to the team work, then the "sloppy" feeling of the presentation can distract or take away from the divine inspiration of that dance. I appreciate Pastor Lynn exhorting us to bathe everything in prayer; to be sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit, and, no matter how much training we have had in dance or choreography, to submit to . Pros: I really appreciated Pastor Lynn statement of the purpose of what we do as we dance. We dance to minister to the Lord by bypassing the mind and into the person’s heart to minister to the individual. This can be translated to every dance step or movement can break down walls that hinder the Holy Spirit from getting to the persons heart to soften it.

Pros: Good morning, This DVD is awesome! The fact that you are a professional dancer and yet you still rely on God is awesome! I have no professional dancing background and everything I have every danced came from God. I have been criticized for not having a ballet background. One teacher even told me forgot about dance and try flags. I'm saying this because I was encouraged to know that God doesn't look at your dancing skills, but your desire to worship him with dance. This was like a revalation to me. This DVD gave me hope regardless of the odds being against me. Thanks!

Pros: I appreciated this DVD, found it useful, learned (among many other things) the importance of considering the length of song. I was glad I got that information before I did a long song by myself. The DVD emphasized remembering that our goal is bypassing the mind and going to the heart for ministering. The video demonstrated movements with counts. I really liked this demonstration of formation and counts because I don’t have a clue about dance counts. The entrance /Introduction samples were great visuals for me. I got more ideas on wardrobe as well.

Studying the information was really important as it has much to remember. I really liked the song used in the video and the dance was truly a blessing to watch.
