Supply List

Here are the ‘suggested’ items to have handy for the various ministry activations. Remember, you may improvise and even imagine, if you don’t have any/all of the items. This is just to give you an idea, so they will be handy/near by. 

These are items that each of the people facilitating the activations have suggested. They are in order of when that activation will be done.

SATURDAY

TEACHING #1 - SONDRA 

Props:

  • Shaw or cloth – large enough to drape, as a prayer veil – white or yellow
  • Small cardboard box with flaps – large enough to hold fabric
  • 2 keys – such as house key
  • Two small pieces of paper, post it note size
  • Tape
  • Pen or marker
  • Flags or other worship item

Prep ahead:

Make small incisions on each box flap, big enough to push in a key. Put prayer cloth/shaw/veil into box and gently tape shut. When box is gently taped closed, the incisions should be accessible. 

Write the word “God” on one piece of paper and tape to one of the keys; write “Me” on other piece and tape to second key.

TEACHING #2 - CHARLESETTE

Tools: paper or notecards, pen or pencil, any dance instrument you wish, (scarf, flag, streamer, tambourine). 

TEACHING #3 - AMY

Tools First Part:

1. Assorted colored construction paper to make a map/booklet or a printout from Amy with a map/brochure template.

2. Pencil, assorted color markers.

3. Suitcase or travel bag.

4. Bread-real or fake

5. Bible

6. Compass- either a real one or hand draw one

7. Staff-stick of some sort for journey

8. Lantern or candle

9.Matches or LED Candle

1. Pencil, black marker, yellow marker.

2. Three sturdy pieces of Paper that can be different colors in which the front and back will be used.

3. All the previous supplies on the first part of the journey can stay for this one: suitcase, compass, map, staff, and especially the lantern or candle.

TEACHING #4 - CARRIE 

Pen and paper; gold (can be gold lame cloth, a gold flag, or gold jewelry (to represent God's glory); a dance veil, OR a lightweight scarf made of silk or chiffon.
